So, as encouraged, I am starting a thread. It's not actually about anything, just a "HI, It's me" thread. So, tell us about yourself? I shall also tell about myself in a bit. I am super busy and this tab has been open for about two hours, so I just wanted to post quick and come back in a while

Hi there! I'm a boring lil' lump of a person. I used to live in Kentucky (now in Indiana) and I have a slight interest in permaculture and the off-grid lifestyle, which is how I heard the tale of the Nauglers, they were mentioned on a site I read sometimes. Something about the story seemed off and with just the tiniest amount of research I found the Blessed Little Blog and all the nifty people associated with it. I am about the same age as Joe and Nicole so when they say things like, "At our age teeth start to fall out" I can confidently say "Not always" and when they #hashtag#homeschooling something, I can give it the ol' side-eye because I homeschooled a couple kids myself. I like gardening and animals and computer games when I'm not being a nuisance on message boards and blogs.

Hi, it's me. My name is my actual name. I live in South Africa and cannot remember how I started Nauglering, but I do remember that I Googled "Blessed Little Homestead" and found Sally's blog. I'm too am a boring person. And love it so. I am a single mom to one teenage girl who has gone through 11 and 1/6 years of traditional schooling (our school year starts in January, like sane people) and is well educated and on her way to university next year and a life time of social responsibility. My brother is a police officer in Australia so the anti-cop stuff really irks me. I enjoy reading, watching superhero movies and just being a boring person.
I am a proud "statist" and pay my taxes.

I am originally a FJ refugee. I live in the Northwest with children who go to school. I homeschooled one child for a year and later for a semester to deal with some rough transition stuff. I'm a grad student and I am a terrible cook, housekeeper and gardener. If I wanted to go live in the woods, I'd probably end up shitting in a bucket which is why I don't do it.

Hi, I'm annie. Aka Amulbunny. I grew up in the midwest and moved to CA at the start of high school. My mom died last week and my little dog 2 weeks prior. so I'm pretty scattered. I am the proud owner of Frances the Troll and she reminds me every day Who Is The Boss. I don't know how I found the Nauglers, but the shithole saga makes me so glad I have brains. My kids, though we weren't rich by any means, went to school and have good jobs. My husband says he's never been without a job unless he wanted to be. He's supported us for over 33 years and is a smart fella. I'm related to all sorts of fundies, one has 7 kids, and 3 of them are college graduates. The rest are all colors of the spectrum religion wise. One set of in laws were so obnoxious that my husbands youngest sister told her sister that if she didn't cool it, she'd lose touch with all of them for them being so judgemental. IT worked. My family says I am an awesome cook, but I can't keep a garden for my life. I do grow peppers and tomatoes in those hanging things. I am looking forward to an insta pot for my birthday and all the good things that will come out of it. I used to be a government drone, I've taught K-14 and like adults best. Love Outlander. ALways have a Kindle with me.

Hi Guys...I have been around since the beginning...Used to comment at first and then I got doxed by "Ben Franklin" ..I didn't even know what doxing was...A group member had to tell me it was happening and how to fix it...They had to go back 5 years to find anything even close that would get to me lol..So I guess my life is pretty good...When the doxing happened I stopped posting but I didn't go away...I made the infamous 55 list,so I hid. I am not savvy enough to doxx or get back at those who do so I stay in the shadows..We have a 30 acre farm..We raise a huge garden every year, rabbits, chickens, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, horses and 1 donkey. They all stay were I put them ...My husband built our 3,000 sq ft house from the ground up with just some help from a couple of friends..We have electric and water and septic and life is good..I do have a wood cookstove and to wood burning heaters but we alse have central heat and air lol..I can, dehydrate and freeze our vedgies,we butcher our own rabbits, pigs, goats and chickens...I am the Mom of 5 children, all born in the hospital..They get vaxinatons and we all got the flu shot..So far no flu..I homeschooled my last child from kindergarten thru highschool..A lot of on-line courses. The other four all graduated highschool at the dreaded public school...Love my life and love Blessed Little Blog.....Thanks for the place to write Sally, you are great.

".I made the infamous 55 list,so I hid."
The 55 are the original good guys. It's sort of funny because some of them probably don't even know they are on it and never really did anything in the first place. I remember when it came out. I had hardly said anything, but there I was. It sort of made me think, "Hell, in for a penny, in for a pound." LOL
And your description of your place makes me look like a total slacker.

Hi. I am a school teacher and a single mom to three kids living in the Northwest. I’ve been aware of the nuuglers ever since they hit the news years ago. I was pretty skeptical from the beginning

Hey! I've been following all of this since it started...it's the longest running soap opera I have ever watched. I don't comment on Facebook because I work with the public and don't want the potential drama with the whole doxxing crap. I love this blog! I don't have a garden or anything cool like that, but I enjoy reading about farm related things too...especially Frances.

Never was big into soaps but haven't been able to look away from the Naugler train wreck since the beginning. Embarrassing to admit maybe (not) but true.
I'm middle age, have adult children, grandchildren, a job, and a business. I enjoy the company of several pets and live a simple life. I am a decent gardener, love to cook, and I'm fairly well versed on processing food on all levels. (Well, I'm not big on fermentation, but there's that) I burn wood for heat, make my own soaps, and am no stranger to hunting, fishing, and "foliaging". (Sorry, I couldn't resist) If the grid fell, I'd survive better than most. (But I bet I would find a better way to shit, than in a bucket.) All this wraps up to my kids calling me "old fashion".
Like many I am perplexed by the Naugler's constant efforts for attention (and donations, of course), and morbid obsession with glorifying abject poverty and hardship, all the while sugar coating it by calling it "homesteading". I am pained to see so many beautiful children grow up in an atmosphere, unfit by most standards, with parents who constantly put their agenda and needs before that of said children. It is equally hard to watch children with obvious talent and skill go without proper guidance and education. Nikki can scream home school all day long and until the end of time, but no one, including me, believes for a New York minute that any of those children get any kind of real education in that camp.
And since Nicole insists on broadcasting her intense and tormented life all over social media, I am obliged to observe and likely have an opinion here or there.
